Welcome to the registration page for the 2025 Kan Stitch Retreat hosted by Sunflower Stitchery.
Signing up is a 2-step process.
1) Sign up here, pay the $100 retreat fee and select your room/bed.
- Please list your roommate(s) in the comment box, if known. Please make sure your roommate(s) also chooses the same room, but a different bed. If you don't have a roommate, the other space(s) in your room is available to others to reserve.
- In the comment box, please include the following information: 1) cellphone number to receive text messages and best contact method, 2) contact information for anyone else you are registering (name, email, cellphone), 3) any additional information I might need.
- You do not pay the Barn until check-in.
- Once you've received a Retreat Confirmation email (additional email with "Retreat Confirmation" in the subject line, different than the order confirmation email), you may proceed to Step 2.
2) Call The Barn to make your room reservation. (785) 945-3225.
- Each person needs to call and reserve their own room, even if rooming with others.
- Tell Patricia at The Barn which room you’ve signed up for and who you're rooming with, if anyone.
- A credit card is required for the reservation. This is an authorization only. You will not be charged for the room until check-in.
Your retreat fee covers lunches, door prizes and a special gift bag. The room rate for The Barn includes 3 nights, 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners. Check-in time on Thursday, July 24, 2025 is 3:00pm. Check-out time on Sunday, July 27, 2025 is 10:00am.
Room and rate information:
The rate for 2 people per room is $378.95 per person for the 3 nights. There is a small discount for 3 or 4 people per room. If there is only one person in a room, they will be charged double the 2 per room rate: $757.89.
Specific room availability is as follows:
- Room 1: Total occupancy - 2 (2 Queen beds)
- Rooms 2, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18: Total occupancy - 2 (1 King bed)
- Rooms 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 17 (rooms 10 & 17 have steps into the room/bathroom): Total occupancy - 3 (1 King bed and 1 Twin Bed)
- Room11 : Total occupancy - 1 (1 Queen bed @Single Rate: $757.89)
- Room 19 (located in loft, up a spiral staircase, no elevator access): Total occupancy - 4 (2 King beds)
Room availability will be updated as rooms are booked
Dietary needs and restrictions: The Barn is happy to accommodate most dietary concerns. Any special dietary requests must be made by July 9. There is a $5 service fee if special food needs to be purchased. Please notify Patricia when you reserve your room.
Cancellation policies: The retreat fee will be refunded for cancellations made before February 1, 2025. The retreat fee will be refunded for cancellations made from February 1-July 9, ONLY if your spot can be filled. No refunds for cancellations after July 9.
The Barn has a 2 week cancellation policy. Cancellations after July 9 will be charged $50/night except for special circumstances.
